In the last days of May, we moved to Jyväskylä in central Finland.
This city is located in the Finnish Lakeland and has inspiring hilly and forested terrain. We can walk to a beautiful little forest with old deadwood, ferns and huge moss-covered boulders from our home just in 5 minutes. If you love nature photography, it is easy to lose track of time enjoying these landscapes.
Jyväskylä is also known as the capital city of Alvar Aalto’s architecture thanks to the great number of buildings designed by the famous architect. Interestingly – we lived next to former pulp mill buildings designed by Alvar Aalto in Oulu.
I am excited to get to know this city better!
