Energizing drum rhythms and dancing rooted in African culture filled the Toivola Old Courtyard yesterday evening. The performance by Sisi Majitu Finland ry was a nice addition to this year’s scaled-down (due to pandemic) City of Light festival!
This was also a very interesting task for me to capture the performance in a low-light situation. I used my fastest lens and, in the beginning, also a flash to get more light. The long exposure helped creating nice swirling fire trails in the end.
